Welcome to
Raptor Tales Rescue

Our Mission: Rescue. Rehabilitate. Release. Repeat.

What We Do

Wildlife Rescue & Rehabilitation: Raptor Tales Rescue is a veteran-run volunteer 501 c 3 non-profit wildlife center located in Shrewsbury, Massachusetts. We respond and rescue raptors in need in our area. The rescue accepts and rehabilitates wildlife from members of the public, local and state police, fire departments, animal control, Mass Audubon, MassWildlife, DCR, Environmental Police, and other licensed rehabilitators.

We treat patients suffering from serious and life-threatening injuries. These include wild animals that are hit by vehicles, shot, or caught in netting or fishing line, lead poisoning, rodenticide toxicosis, window strikes, stuck in glue traps, caught in snap traps, leg hold traps, netting, electrocuted, parasitic infections, and many other life-threatening conditions. We also provide long-term care for patients transferred to us from Wildlife Centers and licensed rehabilitators.
